Critical Reaction
"Battle for the Planet of the Apes" received largely negative reviews when it was released with Roger Ebert stating "...merciful God it's the last of the Apes movies." It currently has a 38% "Rotten" rating at Rotten Tomatoes among critics and 36% among audiences.
