Batman Forever (video Game) - Version Differences

Version Differences

The Super NES and Genesis/Mega Drive versions of the game present very glaring differences. The two most prominent ones are the constant load screens (where the game will display "HOLD ON") on the Super NES version, and the much more Mortal Kombat-like controls as well as moves on the Genesis version. The PC version is the same as the SNES and Genesis versions, but has superior graphics, and Batman and Robin wear different costumes. It also had loading delay. The Game Boy and Game Gear versions do away with a majority of the puzzle-solving of the SNES, PC and Genesis versions, and opts for a more traditional platform fighting game.

Famous quotes containing the words version and/or differences:

Truth cannot be defined or tested by agreement with ‘the world’; for not only do truths differ for different worlds but the nature of agreement between a world apart from it is notoriously nebulous. Rather—speaking loosely and without trying to answer either Pilate’s question or Tarski’s—a version is to be taken to be true when it offends no unyielding beliefs and none of its own precepts.
    Nelson Goodman (b. 1906)

When was it that the particles became
The whole man, that tempers and beliefs became
Temper and belief and that differences lost
Difference and were one? It had to be
In the presence of a solitude of the self....
    Wallace Stevens (1879–1955)
