Eleven players born in Nicaragua have competed in Major League Baseball. Currently, Everth Cabrera, Devern Hansack, Wilton López, and Vicente Padilla are the only four active native Nicaraguan players in Major League Baseball. A fifth Nicaraguan, J. C. Ramírez, is currently in the Philadelphia Phillies organization and on the team's 40-man roster, but has not yet appeared in a Major League Baseball game.
