"Retirement" and Death

In 2005, Bremen claimed to be retired from gatecrashing ("You've heard of the Taser gun? You've heard of 9/11? They don't ask questions anymore") but wouldn't rule out a final bow at a future U.S. Senior Open. "Could there be an opportunity when I'm 60? Yeah," he said. (He since turned 60 and did not attempt any reported impersonations.)

Bremen died of esophageal cancer, leaving behind his wife Margo and three children.

    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

You’re very beautiful. So beautiful I’m going to make you immortal. Like Kharis, you will live forever. What I can do for you I can also do for myself. Neither time nor death can touch us. You and I together for eternity here in the temple of Karnak. You shall be my high priestess.
    Griffin Jay, Maxwell Shane (1905–1983)
