Famous quotes containing the words traditional, middle and/or school:
“The traditional novel form continues to enlarge our experience in those very areas where the wide-angle lens and the Cinerama screen tend to narrow it.”
—Daniel J. Boorstin (b. 1914)

Swarm from the little blue of the horizon
To the great blue of the middle height.”

“Dissonance between family and school, therefore, is not only inevitable in a changing society; it also helps to make children more malleable and responsive to a changing world. —Sara Lawrence Lightfoot (20th century)
