At Leestown Pike is an intersection with U.S. Route 421 and at Georgetown Road is an intersection with U.S. Route 25. The road is a freeway to this point, where it becomes a divided highway. At Paris Pike is an intersection with U.S. Route 27 and U.S. Route 68. At Winchester Road, the bypass rejoins the business route to become nonbannered US 60.

Famous quotes containing the word route:
“no arranged terror: no forcing of image, plan,
or thought:
no propaganda, no humbling of reality to precept:
terror pervades but is not arranged, all possibilities
of escape open: no route shut,”
—Archie Randolph Ammons (b. 1926)
