Nintendo References
Throughout the title there are several references to Nintendo, whether it be reference to the game's previous involvement with the company, or just reference to the company itself. One of the games achievements you have to unlock is entitled "Super Banjo Universe", referencing the popular Nintendo game Super Mario Galaxy. When visiting Banjo's house during a cut-scene, they still own a Nintendo 64 but is now in a damaged condition. After being called failures by the Lord of Games, Kazooie reminds him that they have been in many games, to which L.O.G remarks that it's still not as many as "that Italian gentleman", referring to Nintendo's mascot Mario.
