Gameplay

The game primarily uses vehicles to transport Banjo and Kazooie around the six different worlds. According to game director Gregg Mayles, almost 0 percent of the game retains traditional platforming elements, which include ledge grabbing and tightrope walking, while the overwhelming majority of Nuts & Bolts involves the use of vehicles. There are, no conventional "moves" for Banjo and Kazooie to use, apart from attacks Kazooie performs with her wrench.
