Sarah Jane Smith was investigating the Bubble Shock! her suspicions were very curious so she went to investigate. Factory, a facility created by the Bane to take over the human race by using Bane in a drink called Bubble Shock! They created an artificial human named the Archetype who was adopted by Sarah Jane Smith, and Sarah Jane and her sidekick Maria Jackson named him Luke. Being defeated by Sarah Jane was ignominious to the alien race so Mrs Wormwood lived in exile. Sarah Jane needed The Brigadier's help to defeat the Bane again, although they were working closely with Commander Kaagh, an exiled Sontaran who first appeared in "The Last Sontaran", although he also supposedly was present before that in the Doctor Who episodes "The Sontaran Stratagem" and "The Poison Sky".

Famous quotes containing the words rivalry and/or smith:

It seems to me that we have to draw the line in sibling rivalry whenever rivalry goes out of bounds into destructive behavior of a physical or verbal kind. The principle needs to be this: Whatever the reasons for your feelings you will have to find civilized solutions.
    Selma H. Fraiberg (20th century)

Our love is old, our lives are old,
    And death shall come amain:
Should it come today, what man may say
    We shall not live again?
    —Langdon Smith (1858–1908)
