Primary end-users of BGA's are original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). However there is also a market among electronic hobbyist and do it yourself (DIY) such as the increasingly popular maker movement. While OEMs generally source their components from the manufacturer, or the manufacturer's distributor, the hobbyist is left to find BGA's on the after market through electronic component brokers or distributors.
