Bahria University

Bahria University (Urdu: بحریہ یونیورسٹی‎; BU) is a Federally Chartered Public Sector University which was established on 7 February 2000 through a Presidential Ordinance. It is a multi-campus institution of higher education with its principal office situated in Islamabad the capital city of Pakistan. BU has two campuses, one in Islamabad and the other in Karachi, Pakistan. Other Constituent Units include Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Karachi, National Center of Maritime Policy Research (NCMPR), Karachi and Bahria University Medical & Dental College (BUM&DC), Karachi.

It is a coeducational public University recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Its Engineering, Medical and LLB programs are recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council., Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and Pakistan Bar Council respectively.
