Tennis
Mark Knowles (a five-time Olympian) and Devin Mullings participated in men's doubles tennis on behalf of the Bahamas. Their entrance constituted the only Bahamian participation in any tennis event, and the only tennis entry by any nation in the Caribbean. The pair participated in the first match of the event's first round on 11 August, where they faced a team from the United States that included Bob and Mark Bryan. The Bryan brothers won two sets against the Bahamian team and defeated them, eventually winning the bronze medal in the event.
