• Bagh - the district capital.
• Baghsar - the biggest village in district bagh
• Sahlian Maldialan - village with a population of almost 10,000, 2 km from Bagh in Azad Kashmir. It is surrounded by Nala Maahl, Vill Dharay, Naryola and Singhola. Its total land is 22,000 kanals. It has a forest covering an area of almost 5000 kanals. Its highest point is Blair Potha and its lowest point is Mung Bazar. A proposed ring road touches Sahlian Maldialan at Mung Sahlian via Mung Bazar Bridge.
• Kafal Ghar- Kafulgarh is soil of Scholars, Mujahids and Great people. Moulana Abdullah Kafulgarvi and Mufti Mir Alam were the famous Religious Scholars. Captain Noor Hussain, was from Kaful Garh, Bagh (Sher-i-Jang,equal to Sitara-i-Jurrat)Bagh Sector, 1948. Late Raja Sabeel Khan and Col(R) Naseem Khan are well known politicians belonging to Lober Kafulgarh. Dr Abdul Majeed Khan Janjua(PhD Chemistry) is a well known Scholar belonging to same village.
• Nar Sher Ali Khan - a Union Council 15 km from Bagh in the bases (Daman) of Lasdana; all the homes here were damaged or destroyed during the 2005 earthquake.
• Chattar No. 1 Home village of Abdur Rashid Tarabi, Amir Jamat Islami Azad Kashmir
• Birpani - a union council 20 km from Bagh. All the homes here were damaged or destroyed during the 2005 earthquake.

• Chak Saryan - A village of union Council Rawli, situated apart from it having no boundaries with Rawli. The village is land locked by Kafulgarh and Choorh. Lans Naik Raja Yasin Janjua shaheed is notable personality of the village. He embraced Martyrdom in Kargil Sector During Indo-Pak war in Kargil. Waving Flag of Pakistan on his grave is witness of his loyalty with his homeland. He was born as soldier, he lived as soldier and he died like a soldier.
• Mahldara - A village about 8 km north of Bagh City.
• Jaglari: Jaglari is 13 KM away from Bagh City.It is most populous union council of Tehsil Harigehel, Bagh District. Its population consist mostly of Khakha Rajput while other tribes like Janjua, Maldiayal Mughals, Narma, and Sudhans are also living beside them. Raja Yasin (advisor to AJK Govt)belongs to this village.

• Burka Maira: Burka Maira is another famous village of District Bagh and consist large population of Khakha Rajputs while Pathans (Afridis), Maldiyals, Narmas, Khokhars and janjua are also the inhabitants . It is 10 KM away from Bagh city. It is beautiful agricultural area of Bagh District.
• Haveli District - Haveli is a new district of Azad Kashmir that was formerly part of Bagh District.

• GEHL RAWLI.It is a thickly populated famous village of District Bagh located between villages Bandi in north east, Salot and Hotrory in north west, Badiar and Hamomora in west and Muhri Farman Shah in south, at crow flight distance of 13 Kilometers and Road distance of 22 Kilometers from the district headquarters of Bagh. The population is SAYYEDS (Gardezi) who are mostly Government Officials. Agriculture is a speciality of this beautiful area. A Girls Middle School is contributing in a big way in the fields of Education and Personality Development of youth under the guidance of dedicated, motivated and trained staff led by a true professional and highly respected Headmistress. Lumberdar Syed Ibrahim Shah, Tehsildar Syed Muhammad Siddique Shah, Syed Imam Shah Gardezi, Principal Syed Fayyaz Ahmed Shah, Brigadier Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), Syed Sajjad Hussain Jaffri, Advocate Syed Imtiaz Hussain shah, Syed Safeer Hussain Shah, Syed Shoaib Akhtar, Syed Nasibullah Gardezi (former Advisor to President AJ&K), Flight Lieutenant Syed Sibtain Akhtar, First Officer Syed Saqlain Akhtar (P.I.A), Syed Shafiq Hussain Shah, Syed Javed Hussain Shah (prince), Syed Majeed Hussain Shah, all hail from this village.
• Sohawa Sharif. A very famous place for its academic activities since the dawn of twentieth century. A tomb of Pir Syed Said Ali Shah.Professor Syed Bashir Hussain Jaffri,Colonel Syed Saadat Hssain, Professor Syed Shoukat Hussain Jaffri hail from this religious family.
• Las Danna

From Bagh, a 15-km long metalled road leads to Las Danna which is a place of captivating scenery and natural beauty. From Lasdanna, three roads branch off the main road, i.e. Mahmood gali-Palangi, Haji pir- Aliabad and Abbasspur- Hajira respectively. A tourist rest house is available here for accommodation.
