Famous quotes containing the words awaking and/or centuries:

That, he awaking when the other do,
May all to Athens back again repair,
And think no more of this night’s accidents
But as the fierce vexation of a dream.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

That grand drama in a hundred acts, which is reserved for the next two centuries of Europe—the most terrible, most questionable and perhaps also the most hopeful of all dramas.
    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)
