In Media

In 2010, Jeremy Clarkson filmed his DVD, The Italian Job, at the Imola circuit as well as Lydden Hill Race Circuit in England and the Fiorano Circuit, Ferrari's test track.

In 2011, the BBC's Top Gear had a segment at the Imola circuit, where Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond had to beat a time set on the track by a Ferrari 458, driven by "the Stig's Italian cousin," according to Clarkson. May drove a McLaren MP4-12C, Clarkson drove a Lamborghini Aventador, and Hammond drove a Noble M600. The time set in the Ferrari by the Stig was 1:56.6, and none of the men could beat that time.

Famous quotes containing the word media:

The media no longer ask those who know something ... to share that knowledge with the public. Instead they ask those who know nothing to represent the ignorance of the public and, in so doing, to legitimate it.
    Serge Daney (1944–1992)

One can describe a landscape in many different words and sentences, but one would not normally cut up a picture of a landscape and rearrange it in different patterns in order to describe it in different ways. Because a photograph is not composed of discrete units strung out in a linear row of meaningful pieces, we do not understand it by looking at one element after another in a set sequence. The photograph is understood in one act of seeing; it is perceived in a gestalt.
