History
The Congregation was founded on 3 August 1625 by Pope Urban VIII, and consisted of eleven Benedictine monasteries in Austria:

- Kleinmariazell Abbey
- Kremsmünster Abbey
- Lambach Abbey
- Melk Abbey
- Mondsee Abbey
- Schottenstift, Vienna
