Australian Institute Of Policy & Science

AIPS, the Australian Institute of Policy and Science was founded in 1932. Originally known as the Australian Institute of Political Science, its aim was to further public understanding of Australia's political and economic situation during the Great Depression and beyond. In 2006 the organisation changed its name to the Australian Institute of Policy and Science to better reflect its objectives and activities. It is a non-partisan and non-profit organisation that receives funding from the Australian federal and state governments, universities and the corporate sector. The Australian Institute of Policy and Science (AIPS) currently has offices in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
