There are four categories of membership and each category is dependent upon experience. These categories (and associated post-nominals) are:
- Affiliate (AAICD)
- Member (MAICD)
- Graduate Member (GAICD)
- Fellow (FAICD)
- Life Fellow (FAICD Life)
