Clunies-Ross Award

The Clunies-Ross Foundation was originally founded in 1959 to perpetuate the memory of Sir Ian Clunies Ross, and promote the development of science and technology in Australia’s beneficial interest. In November 2002, the Foundation was brought under the umbrella of the ATSE.

The Clunies Ross National Science & Technology Award was established in 1991. It is now called the ATSE Clunies Ross Award, and is awarded for the application of science and technology for the economic, social or environmental benefit of Australia.
