Audrey Roberts (née Potter) is a fictional character from the British soap opera Coronation Street, played by Sue Nicholls. Audrey made her first appearance on 16 April 1979. After playing the role as a recurring guest for the next six years, Nicholls joined the cast regularly in 1985 and has been with the show ever since. Audrey was introduced as the mother of characters Gail Potter (Helen Worth) and Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce). Audrey married Alf Roberts (Bryan Mosley) in 1985.
