Atom (Ray Palmer)
The Atom is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane. He is introduced during the Silver Age of comic books in Showcase # 34 (Sep-Oct 1961). He was named after Raymond A. Palmer, a science fiction magazine editor.
