Annual Techinical Fest : Udbhavanam
Assam Engineering College, the premier technical institution of north-east India has organized its first ever technical festival which is coined by the name UDBHAVANAM. It is worthwhile mentioning that AEC has earlier organized Pyrokinesis-the annual techno-cultural festival. But from this year (2012) onwards, it has separated its technical part and decided to dedicate two days amidst technical competitions, workshops, lectures and seminars.
The two day festival has many exciting events to attract the technical students all over India. Moreover through this fest it will also try to induce young minds of the school students to new technologies and applications. The events will be organized and managed by students of the college with guidance of the professors. There will be events covering every technical departments of the college namely, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication, Chemical, Computer Science, Instrumentation and Industrial Production Engineering. There will be events managed by Entrepreneurship Development Cell, AEC also. The two day technical festival promises to deliver a lot to the technical students and open new endeavors through various technologies in the betterment of the society.
