Arthur Harbour

Arthur Harbour is a small harbour entered between Bonaparte Point and Norsel Point on the southwest coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago.

Arthur Harbour was roughly charted by the French Antarctic Expedition (1903–1905) under Jean-Baptiste Charcot. It was surveyed in more detail in 1955 by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), who established a station near the head of the harbour.

Arthur Harbour was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) in 1956 after Oswald Raynor Arthur, then Governor of the Falkland Islands.
