Arnos Grove (/ˈɑːnɒs ɡrəʊv/) is an area in the south west corner of the London Borough of Enfield, England.
It sits close to Enfield's borders with two other boroughs: Barnet and Haringey. Arnos Grove used to be considered part of Southgate, and then New Southgate.
Today Arnos Grove is centred on the western end of Bowes Road A1110 road, although the estate was centred on what is now Morton Crescent.

Famous quotes containing the word grove:
“I cant make head or tail of Life. Love is a fine thing, Art is a fine thing, Nature is a fine thing; but the average human mind and spirit are confusing beyond measure. Sometimes I think that all our learning is the little learning of the maxim. To laugh at a Roman awe-stricken in a sacred grove is to laugh at something today.”
—Wallace Stevens (18791955)
