Famous quotes containing the word meaning:

The fact that life has no meaning is a reason to live—moreover, the only one.
    E.M. Cioran (b. 1911)

    Friedrich Nietzsche (1844–1900)

Experience has taught me that the shallowest of communist platitudes contains more of a hierarchy of meaning than contemporary bourgeois profundity.
    Walter Benjamin (1892–1940)
