Aquila (children's Magazine)

Aquila (children's Magazine)

Aquila is a children's magazine aimed at 8-13 year olds, featuring puzzles, fact files, jokes, and a pen pal page. Each issue revolves around a specific theme, such as a species of animal or famous individual. It was established in 1993 and is owned and run by New Leaf Publishing Ltd, a small independent publishing house situated in the coastal town of Eastbourne in East Sussex, England. Aquila magazine is supported by The National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth and many similar organisations. ATE Superweeks, a UK summer camp provider, works in association with Aquila magazine to run an annual summer camp. In 2012 the camp will be called The Eco-Venture and has a focus on the environment.
