This philosophy promotes the belief that one's dormant self can be woken up with greatness that can brighten one's life and, by extension, one's surroundings when one accepts and appreciates who one is, where one is and what one does.

Famous quotes containing the words educational and/or philosophy:

Few white citizens are acquainted with blacks other than those projected by the media and the so—called educational system, which is nothing more than a system of rewards and punishments based upon one’s ability to pledge loyalty oaths to Anglo culture. The media and the “educational system” are the prime sources of racism in the United States.
    Ishmael Reed (b. 1938)

The real discovery is the one which enables me to stop doing philosophy when I want to.—The one that gives philosophy peace, so that it is no longer tormented by questions which bring itself into question.
    Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951)
