Antonio Veracini (17 January 1659 – 24 October 1745) was an Italian composer and violinist of the Baroque era.
Veracini was born in Florence, Italy. He taught the violin to his nephew Francesco Maria Veracini (1690-1768) who became a celebrated violinist and composer, known for his violin sonatas and concerti.
Antonio Veracini died aged 86, which for the time period was very old.
