Antigua Labour Party - Leadership Crisis

Leadership Crisis

There had been speculation that even if the ALP won the 2009 election, Bird's leadership will be challenged. Nevertheless, as of December 2011, Bird remains ALP leader.

Famous quotes containing the words leadership and/or crisis:

This I do know and can say to you: Our country is in more danger now than at any time since the Declaration of Independence. We don’t dare follow the Lindberghs, Wheelers and Nyes, casting suspicion, sowing discord around the leadership of Franklin D. Roosevelt. We don’t want revolution among ourselves.
    Lyndon Baines Johnson (1908–1973)

The easiest period in a crisis situation is actually the battle itself. The most difficult is the period of indecision—whether to fight or run away. And the most dangerous period is the aftermath. It is then, with all his resources spent and his guard down, that an individual must watch out for dulled reactions and faulty judgment.
    Richard M. Nixon (1913–1995)
