Anti-climb Paint - Safety

Safety

To keep the general public from being affected by the paint, it is usually applied above a certain height on the object being painted. Typically it is applied from a height of 8 ft / 2,4 metres above the ground. It is the responsibility of the user to check his local legislation and regulations regarding the use of this paint. It is highly recommended that the paint be applied in an area where intruders cannot reach it without climbing. The paint has the greatest effect when an intruder has to climb several feet / meters before being stopped by a band of anti-climb paint.

All EU manufacturers are required to produce appropriate REACH / CLP safety data sheets.

Famous quotes containing the word safety:

To emancipate [the slaves] entirely throughout the Union cannot, I conceive, be thought of, consistently with the safety of the country.
    Frances Trollope (1780–1863)

Once women begin to question the inevitability of their subordination and to reject the conventions formerly associated with it, they can no longer retreat to the safety of those conventions. The woman who rejects the stereotype of feminine weakness and dependence can no longer find much comfort in the cliché that all men are beasts. She has no choice except to believe, on the contrary, that men are human beings, and she finds it hard to forgive them when they act like animals.
    Christopher Lasch (b. 1932)

Perhaps having built a barricade when you’re sixteen provides you with a sort of safety rail. If you’ve once taken part in building one, even inadvertently, doesn’t its usually latent image reappear like a warning signal whenever you’re tempted to join the police, or support any manifestation of Law and Order?
    Jean Genet (1910–1986)
