Perosh runs Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts (SPMA), with his business and training partner Elvis Sinosic, a martial arts school located in Concord, Sydney, Australia teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Wrestling.
His nickname, "The Hippo," derived from his specific Brazilian Jiu Jitsu game; his use of pressure from the top position made his training partners frustrated and say: "Get off me you hippo!".
