Gerrard and his wife, Laura, have 2 sons, Harry, born in 2009 and Georgie, born in July 2011.
Gerrard is also the cousin of Jon-Paul Gilhooley, who was the youngest of the 96 victims of the Hillsborough disaster on 15 April 1989. Gerrard's cousin is Liverpool and England captain Steven Gerrard.
