Ansford Academy, previously known as Ansford School, is a school located in the town of Ansford, which lies on the northern edge of Castle Cary in Somerset, England. As of January 2012, the academy had 640 students from the ages of 11 to 16. The Principal is Rob Benzie. In July 2011, the school became an Academy.
The main school was built in 1940 with additional rooms for science, technology, mathematics and modern languages being added in the 1970s. A new £1.7 million Sports Centre was completed in 2005.
