Anna Hruby

Anna Hruby (born 19 October 1960) is an Australian actress who has appeared in many Australian television series and theatre productions.

Hruby first achieved recognition for her role in Prisoner as Paddy Lawson. She has also appeared in TV series such as Sons and Daughters as Tracy Kingsford, A Country Practice, All Saints and mini-series such as The Harp in the South, Poor Man's Orange and Seven Little Australians.

More recently, she was a regular cast member on Home and Away playing Judith Ackroyd and Fireflies playing Rebekah Sharp.

Hurby has also worked as a voiceover artist in advertisements, television network promotions for Foxtel, the Channel 7.

Anna is also the current Telstra voice artist, and is commonly known as 'The Telstra Lady', as she provides a large marjorty of recorded messages at Telstra, such as your call could not be connected, and other menu prompts.

She is the daughter of Joy Hruby, a recipient of an OAM for her contribution to community broadcasting as a producer for TVS (Television Sydney), and is also mother to Polly Cheshire.
