In the original Italian version, the voices of many actors in the film are dubbed:
- Silvana Mangano: Lydia Simoneschi, the queen of Italian dubbing, who also dubbed her in Bitter Rice, Outlaw Girl, Mambo and Ulysees; Simoneschi is particularly known for having dubbed Bette Davis, Ingrid Bergman, Jennifer Jones, Vivien Leigh in Gone with the wind and so on
- Vittorio Gassman: Gualtiero De Angelis, the official Italian voice for James Stewart, Dean Martin or Cary Grant
- Raf Vallone: Mario Pisu, best known for having dubbed all of the Fred McMurray's Disney films (except for The Shaggy Dog)
- Gaby Morlay: Tina Lattanzi, the official Italian voice for Greta Garbo, Joan Crawford and Disney villains (until 1959)
- Tina Lattanzi herself appears in the film as Andrea's mother and she is dubbed by Giovanna Scotto!
