Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) is an annual three-day anime convention held in the Atlanta, Georgia area, typically in the month of September. Since the first convention in 1995, Anime Weekend Atlanta has become one of the most attended anime conventions in the United States and as of 2010 it has been the 8th largest anime convention in the United States and the largest anime convention in the Southeastern United States. Anime Weekend Atlanta 19 will be held September 27 to the 29th, 2013 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Renaissance Waverly Hotel, and the Sheraton Suites Galleria Atlanta hotel, all north of Atlanta.
