Reaction To Roman Catholic Personal Ordinariates

In October 2009, ANiC's leadership reacted to the Roman Catholic Church's proposed creation of personal ordinariates for disaffected traditionalist Anglicans by saying that this provision would probably not have a great impact on its laity and clergy, who are satisfied with the current Anglican realignment movement. Famous quotes containing the words reaction to, reaction, roman, catholic and/or personal:

In contrast to revenge, which is the natural, automatic reaction to transgression and which, because of the irreversibility of the action process can be expected and even calculated, the act of forgiving can never be predicted; it is the only reaction that acts in an unexpected way and thus retains, though being a reaction, something of the original character of action.
    Hannah Arendt (1906–1975)

More and more, when faced with the world of men, the only reaction is one of individualism. Man alone is an end unto himself. Everything one tries to do for the common good ends in failure.
    Albert Camus (1913–1960)

Good gentlemen, look fresh and merrily.
Let not our looks put on our purposes,
But bear it as our Roman actors do,
With untired spirits and formal constancy.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    May they rest in peace.
    [Requiescant in pace.]
Missal, The. Order of Mass for the Dead.

The Missal is book of prayers and rites used to celebrate the Roman Catholic mass during the year.

Love is a scandal of the personal sort.
    Anton Pavlovich Chekhov (1860–1904)
