Early Career
Whitmore started his career as a session keyboard player. He played with soul band Caleche touring UK, Germany & Norway before applying for the job as keyboard player for Spandau Ballet. He later toured and played on Terence Trent D'Arby's album, Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby. Andy has been playing keyboards at Pizza Express - Dean Street Central London for 3 years with Paul Brown, Jessy J, Mindi Abair, Euge Groove, Marc Antoine, Brian Culbertson, Eric Darius, Jeff Golub, Peter White, Richard Elliot & Ricci Braun & Tony Mason. His production career is as busy as ever with Samar, Romi, Aleka, Kya, Alexander O'Neal, Sparz & Spiro in 2010 / 2011. He is doing TV / Film & library music & recently signed a deal with Accorda Music to distribute his songs worldwide, along with a 2010 deal with Boosey & Hawks for UK distribution. Richard Hammonds BBC1 Engineering Connections - Burj Al Arab - series 3 featured 2 of Andy Whitmore's recordings - Arabesque & Shah's Bazaar. Andy lives in Ealing & is currently having a 2 bedroom loft extension added to his house.
