Awards
In 2009 Gotts was awarded the Fox Talbot Award from the British Institute of Professional Photography, BIPP, for his contribution to photography. This award is not given every year; it is only given in special circumstance and only to professionals who have made a difference in the photographic medium. In 2010 Gotts took over as President (title) of the BIPP for one year.
In 2012 Gotts was awarded the MBE in Queen Elizabeth II's 2012 New Year Honours, for his services to photography.
