Andy Johnson is an artist best known for designing the record sleeves of The The in the 1980s and 1990s which were produced under the pseudonym Andy Dog. His work has a very distinctive style and often features tortured, grimacing figures coupled with dark, melancholic themes. As a child he worked early with Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop at the Theatre Royal in Stratford, London. Appeared in the cult film Bronco Bullfrog. In the late '70s, he fronted post-punk outfit Camera 3 and played alongside Crass.

Currently, Andrew lives and works as an artist in the East Anglia region of England.
