Sports media channels such as ESPN and Fox Sports, as well as sports magazines like Sports Illustrated, basically only appeal to a male audience. Additionally, this is reflected by its advertisers who almost exclusively target men. Men are also most likely to stimulate the sporting economy whether the advertising is targeted non-gender specifically.
