The Andhra Pradesh cricket team is an Indian domestic cricket team representing the South Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, barring its capital, Hyderabad, which has its own cricket team. It is one of the two cricket teams from Andhra Pradesh. The team's home ground is the APCA-VDCA Stadium at Visakhapatnam, but some of their home matches are also played at Vijayawada and Anantapur.
It has never featured in a Ranji Trophy final and has therefore never had a chance to participate in the Irani Trophy. In the 2007/08 season Andhra achieved two wins out of six in the Elite Group of the Ranji Trophy, missing out of the semi-finals. It falls under the South Zone of Indian cricket.
