Ana-parti/Anaparthy/Anaparthi is a town (formerly Anapothavaram) in East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Anaparti formed on the name of the king Anapotha Reddy of Rajamahendravaram Dynasty a decent place to live in and with medical, transport, educational and commercial outlets, mostly rice mills, poultry farms, making a good business.

It is situated between the northern latitudes of 16° 30' and 18° and between 81° 30' and 82° 30' of the eastern longitudes.

Almost all the residents of this village are of the same social caste Reddy, Bhumanchi Reddy. The village is quiet in nature and almost every person lives here has his own recognition.

Anaparti has two canals of River Godavari waters, providing vast areas of agricultural lands.

The main business of this town is financing (lending money). Other than financiers, also contractors, politicians, doctors and social workers made this town famous.

This is a place of semi-urban, with the banking facilities like SBI, SBH, Andhra bank, & Dist. Co-Op banks in public sector and ICICI, Bank of India in private sector.

Anaparthi has a good quality of educational facilities from K.G. to P.G. Late Sri Goluguri Bapi Raju the founder correspondent of G.B.R. educational Institutions was the visionary of women education which leads to society development. Goluguri Bapi Raju family is the oldest family in Anaparthi village. Goluguri Bapi raju build temples, roads, buildings and many other social activities for the welfare of the society. Goluguri Babi Raju family also well noted in politics, Goluguri Bapi Raju's son Goluguri Ashok Reddy following in his father's footsteps for the development of the society sacrificed many for the village.

From the recent past, the eye hospital in this town made it popular around. The doctor of this eye hospital, Dr. Sri Tetali Satyanarayana Reddy, is renowned for his talent.

Dr. Karri Rama Reddy of Rajahmundry, a multi-faceted personality (a medical doctor-psychiatrist, a computer engineer, a lawyer, a management guru, and a writer), whose name is entered into Limca book of records is a native of Anaparti.

Along with the finance sector the poultry also plays a vital role. Tetali Radha Krishna Reddy, who is popularly Known as Radha, is boosting up the poultry sector of this area by exporting eggs to south India and far off places. The town is known for its spiritual and cultural awareness, so many spiritual trusts like:

  1. Sri Vemuri Venkata Subbarao, Smt. Venkata Ramanamma Spiritual Trust led by Sri Peelukanna Radha Krishna Rao (Income Tax Practitioner) and Sri Kovvuri Rama Reddy (S.B.I).

  3. Jahnavi Cultural Unit led by Dr. Sri T. S. N. Reddy (Eye Doctor) and Sri N. Satyanarayana Reddy.

The town is also famous for famous temples called Veerullamma and Bapanamma. The Veerulamma temple Theertham will be celebrated on every pongal (January 13–15) every year.
