Construction
This project is a work of constructor Yuri Kormilitsyn and it's the further development of ideas implemented in Kilo class submarines. Amur boats are single-hulled, they have minimal displacement for reducing noise signature and improving propulsion quality. Boats have totally new main electric engine, which uses permanent magnets in construction and have a high energy conversion efficiency even in slow motion modes.
