America's Best Dance Crew (season 3) - Episodes - Week 6: Battle of The Sexes Challenge

Week 6: Battle of The Sexes Challenge

  • Aired on February 19, 2009

The episode started off with the remaining crews doing an intro performance together choreographed by Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo.

The four crews battled it out in the Girls vs Boys style. Similar to the Video Star Challenge in the first and second seasons, each crew was given a video by a male or female superstar that emulated either 'girl power' or 'guy power', and were challenged to incorporate the spirit of the video in their choreography.

This was the first time in ABDC history that the top 4 consisted of two all male crews, and two all female crews. The male groups Quest Crew and Strikers All-Stars danced to Ludacris' What Them Girls Like, while the female groups Beat Freaks and Fly Khicks danced to Beyoncé's Single Ladies.

Famous quotes containing the words week, battle and/or challenge:

Jesus would recommend you to pass the first day of the week rather otherwise than you pass it now, and to seek some other mode of bettering the morals of the community than by constraining each other to look grave on a Sunday, and to consider yourselves more virtuous in proportion to the idleness in which you pass one day in seven.
    Frances Wright (1795–1852)

Marriage is a fierce battle before which the two partners ask heaven for its blessing, because loving each other is the most audacious of enterprises; the battle is not slow to start, and victory, that is to say freedom, goes to the cleverest.
    Honoré De Balzac (1799–1850)

Men speak of natural rights, but I challenge any one to show where in nature any rights existed or were recognized until there was established for their declaration and protection a duly promulgated body of corresponding laws.
    Calvin Coolidge (1872–1933)
