Current Drivers
There are currently no American drivers in Formula One. The last American to compete in a grand prix event was Scott Speed at the 2007 European Grand Prix. In 2012 Californian Alexander Rossi tested for Caterham, becoming the closest American in recent times to securing a drive in the sport.
