American Ambulance Association

The American Ambulance Association, also known as the AAA, is a trade association for the EMS industry.

Founded in 1979, their website states their mission is:

"To promote health care policies that ensure excellence in the ambulance services industry and provide research, education and communications programs to enable its members to effectively address the needs of the communities they serve."

As part of their commitment to community service, the American Ambulance Association founded the AAA Foundation which supports the Stars of Life Program and the Global Medical Assistance Project among other projects.
