Ewok
Ewoks are a primitive tribal species from the Forest Moon of Endor. They are approximately half the size of humans and covered with fur. The Ewoks are best known for their aid to the Rebel mission to remove the shield protecting the Second Death Star known as the battle of Endor. While peaceful by nature, they are extremely territorial and have been known to fight ferociously in protection of their society. Though they are known as Ewoks, they are never actually called that. In fact they are never called anything in Episode VI.
