  • 1929 - Murchison, estimated magnitude = 7.8
  • 1968 - Inangahua, estimated magnitude = 7.1
  • 2003 - Fiordland, estimated magnitude = 7.1
  • 2009 - Fiordland, estimated magnitude = 7.8
