These AMD councils exist in Great Britain, the United States, Canada, France and Australia and their members also educate each other by presenting research papers on Freemasonry.

Famous quotes containing the words allied and/or degrees:
“A great number of the disappointments and mishaps of the troubled world are the direct result of literature and the allied arts. It is our belief that no human being who devotes his life and energy to the manufacture of fantasies can be anything but fundamentally inadequate”
—Christopher Hampton (b. 1946)
“Complete courage and absolute cowardice are extremes that very few men fall into. The vast middle space contains all the intermediate kinds and degrees of courage; and these differ as much from one another as mens faces or their humors do.”
—François, Duc De La Rochefoucauld (16131680)
